17. Fuck I live in Germany now but I am from Lee County (as is my whole family); I don't think my folks house made it. I wish all of my fellow Floridians Godspeed.

18. Obviously, they under-estimated Ian. Millions of dollars damages to fire trucks they didn't think they had to protect.

    There’s going to be so much damage, so many homes destroyed and uninhabitable. These scenes tomorrow morning will be surreal. Hopefully it didn’t take many lives, but I’m concerned about that too. So many homes in that area sit at 5ft elevation or less. Power will be out for weeks in places, mold in almost every flooded home, debris everywhere. Just a complete disaster.
