Gutted for Thierry. Don't understand the toxicity towards him. Well, maybe I do. It's Tänak and his fans, isn't it. Took longer than I expected for the hostility to really start flaring up, when Ott joined Hyundai I expected it to begin immediately but it didn't.

I almost booked tickets to this event, but for some reason I am underwhelmed by the footage and am glad I didn't. It somehow doesn't look like a great spectator rally. Lots of flat dusty farm roads with no camber – there's no opportunity to really open up and start cutting corners because it's all so tight and slippery. At least that's what it looks like to me.

I live in the same time zone as the Dirtfish rally school. We have to catch up to each day of WRC events because of the time difference. Please do not put spoilers in the titles. I got spoiled because of the same title for your podcast episodes and I got the update on the my phone. I have to unsubscribe to all Dirtfish accounts now. Please hold off on these spoilers in the titles for the sake of your subscribers outside of Europe.
Maybe wrong but a few drivers need to go at 90% and just get to the end of a rally. You will always get retirements so the focus should be on a finish. A few are going to be under huge pressure to start delivering

100,000 thoussaaands of fans? hello, i live in the region. went today and watched dikkebus, this edition is less of an event. And almost NO spectators compared with all the years before.. wrc or non wrc ieper.. it's so dead.. it's so not more an event.. What the hell.
