1. I simply don’t understand people. If you cannot take care of your pet anymore, bring it to a shelter. At least that way it has a slight chance of finding another forever home. Don’t let it fend for itself! Cruel bastards.

3. Update May 30th, 2022. Shania is the queen of the house. She is loved and spoiled and very well taken care of. She has the whole house to roam in and lots of places to sleep. She has brothers and sisters (cats and dogs) to play with and gets a LOT of hugs and pets and cuddles, and special treats at times. She is SUCH a great little pup. So HAPPY and enthusiastic. Her tail never stops wagging. She knows she is safe.

4. My girl was dumped at a kill shelter at around 1.5 yrs, because she “had too much energy”, but I think it was because she would get destructive separation anxiety. She was the sweetest, well behaved, derpy, protective creature and I valued every minute of the 11 years I had her. I can still remember the look on her face in the kennel, so depressed and just wondering what she did wrong. I can only imagine this poor animal’s pain and confusion. In this day and age of FB, YouTube, Insta, and the rest, there is absolutely no reason to abandon an animal. Thankfully, they are much more resilient than us and much better at living in the now.

9. I recently got a pet stroller for my pets and it cost nearly 400 Euros. This is really sad, really seems like someone died and some heartless bastards throw his dog and his stuff away. No person who has a pet stroller and toothpaste for pets does something like this. So terrible.

18. Patience is a key to rescuing this dog! She was dumped in this area poor thing! So alone, . But Loretta and joann are the best!I think she is a little terrier! The ears ,and the fur is the same as my terrier,!same size to!

19. It's October 18, 2021 and I'm very very very happy to tell you that Shania is living in a home filled with love. She is a wonderful companion and she gets along with the other animals here. She loves to cuddle and her tail is always wagging. She is a happy little lady and we love her so much!

20. Why do so many people abandon animals? It's mind blowing! There's people out there who will come to your location and pick the animal up. I believe more money should be spent on educational messages for the public on what to do with animals you can no longer care for. Instructions on what to do, phone numbers and locations of people who will help. The abandonment of animals must stop. 🌴😎🌴FL
