  1. Sorry but I had to laugh when the Firefighter and Police Officer we’re pulling down the fencing then the Officer walks round and says there’s a gate here🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

  2. Animals usually run or get very protective of themselves whenever they've had something stressful like this happen , poor Frank I'm glad he was okay!!!! And glad nobody else was hurt!!!!

  3. I almost had that same scenario in my house early this morning. An extension cord sparked and caught my wood floor on fire. Thankfully I was awake and kept my head about me. I grabbed a dress off my dresser and beat out the flames, then they sparked again so I unplugged the extension cord and beat out the flames a second time. That time the fire stayed out. I'm thankful the good Lord was watching out for me.

  4. The officer is absolutely right. Stuff can be replaced. My daughter, 5yo at the time, and I had a fire in our apartment-style condo about 16yr ago now. Our neighbour's suite exploded, split open our dining room wall (where we were sitting) and by the time we got outside, our dining room and living room curtains were on fire.
As we were driving away with my dad, she asked "what about my CareBears?" I told her we'd go to the store and buy more CareBears. She then asked "what about my bed?" I told her I'd buy her a new one. She asked about a few more things with my reply being the same. So she then stopped, looked at me thru those wet-with-tears eyelashes and said "you mean the only thing we can't buy a new one of is you and me?"
From the mouths of babes, folks. Truer words never spoken. 16 years on an I'm currently waiting for good weather to have a garage sale because I have more crap in this house than I need, haha.

  5. I have worked scenes like this, (OEM) This officer was very attentive to any need the fireman may have. I am not used to seeing that so, Thanks to that officer for the way He handled Himself.

  6. I was 5 and walked to school we got to school and the school was on fire it was only a weatherboard built school so went up pretty quick all the firies were there don’t remember if there was any police it was 51 yrs ago. I remember assembling in the playground a few days later and the principal telling us that the fire chief wanted to tell us that he was really really sorry that they couldn’t save our school.

  7. IN MY VIEW
“Frank” the dog trusted the gentle and kind officer to finally pick him up and take to him to safety. When Frank realized that the officer took him BACK to his lady owner and shut the door behind them it was too late for Frank to bite the officer. You see, Frank was running away.

  8. When I was little all we had was a wood burning stove and we had a chimney fire in the middle of the night and I swore I'd never have a wood burning stove. Thank God everyone was okay!!

  9. Humans are really amazing when you think about it. Like the firefighter that was at the white fence ripping it down.
You can train your body to do so much.
That firefighter was like— fence in way “hulk smash” —fence gone! Lol

  10. While I understand their need for good information, some people panic on their worst day. It doesn't help when dispatch loses their patience and chastises them, but again, I get it

  11. I feel so bad for her. Its scary and losing everything is very hard. My mom lost her house at age 8 and her dad passed away trying to stop the flames. He had a heart attack. So sad to see this. The police guy was very sweet and saving the dog too. Very nice

  12. The officer went above and beyond What most regular people would do. Unfortunately people don't give them the credit that they deserve for what all they do. As for the mail dispatcher I think he needs a little bit more training.

  13. I understand that she is in a panic but she should have took some deep breaths. It would have been easier to understand her better. But i do understand why she was panicking. It was nice for some people to let them come in and stay. Im happy that everyone is ok.
