7. One of my Brothers and I went to HI back in 1990. From Seattle. Before take off the plane was grounded because of a HOLE in one of the wings. So we're in HI and we're heading back. The plane was grounded because of one of the Engines. That wasn't as bad we got another night in HI for free. Room and Food anyway. I haven't been on a Plane since.

I had a job offer for a Minnesota outfit at a California terminal I took a frontier plane to Denver Colorado out of Minneapolis Minnesota then another Frontier plane to California out of Denver Colorado was fun.Spent a week at terminal/ motel job wasn't going work out trip out was free and motel .Caught a cab back to airport got a plane that day but was delayed. Waiting on plane was hearing someone hollering suicide very loud or on PA thinking just song stuck in my head like were a kid year was 2009 I was 40 years old.Got on plane 3 hours after that was a big norwest bird sat near the pilot waiting for it beforehand.The pilot seemed to to very good went around clouds instead of through in clear sky over ocean minutes afterwards thought was going take a loon dive into ocean then back up and over everyone looked calm on plane was back in Minneapolis in less than 3 hours all the girls in airport looked the same when I got back thinking I was in twilight zone .Called cab took me back to Minnesota terminal and my pick up…& over seemed a litte….odd

13. We were taking off an our engines blrw up. I later learned that if we would have hit a certain speed they have to take off. If we would have had to take off wed have crash landed cuz the engins were gone an we wouldnt have been able to make it back to air port. Was scary to learn I was that close to plane crash.

15. There was a pretty crazy one in 2001 that would be a good one for the list, based on the title. September 10th, or something. Some planes hit these old buildings and blew up. Sure wouldn't believe that one, if it weren't on video.

19. Landing in a large river is a lot better than the ocean,you don’t have to contend with waves.

20. The biggest risk during an emergency on a commercial flight is that far-from-rare group of idiots who refuse to follow instructions from those trained to deal with emergencies. Personally, I think airports should employ snipers to take out anyone carrying luggage down an emergency escape slide. Might focus a few minds.

I was flying to Israel and when we were landing in Charlotte for a connecting flight to Philadelphia, we flew through a thunderstorm that, while we were landing, spawned a tornado, we hit it or part of it or something, and dropped 200 feet in a few seconds but we were able to land, I had to be forced onto that next aircraft I was ready to drive back home lmao

Hi from uk 👋👍 some absolute butt clenching moments here today👍 the 2 with the skydivers 😱 my lord am pleased all got away and other landed safely and as for chesley sullenberger I was only talking about this last week he retired year after I think ? On last flight he was with his co pilot from the double bird strike 👌 30 years experience gets you there tho but they say planes cant emergency land on water as no bow plain to start with but he created with his professionalism but once knew nothing tower could do he went into radio silence whilst he was thinking and coordinating his manoeuvre so again well done to him and all these planes downed or broken in flight👍 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋

34. If I were on the last aircraft I be heading for the exit on side of aircraft away from flames . Not to easy to to "remain seated" when there's a fire outside your wind
