What we really need to do ,(in my ever so humble opinion, ) is urge NATO to follow suit after the NATO country of Germany, whose chancellor, Olaf Scholz, has put a freeze on the Russia/Germany Nordstream pipeline agreement, putting the certificate of delivery on hold, (which takes guts man!) OR! At least to follow suit after chancellor Scholz who has pledged to send 1,000,000 anti-tank weapons, and 500 stinger missiles to the aid of the Ukrainian military; (which would give way more leverage that being work a whole lot better if sleepy Joe would wake the F up and turn the Keystone XL pipeline spigot on!)

Kondrratiev the economist told Stalin exactly what he did not want to hear and he was executed for it. I get why Russia wanted to not demolish everything in Ukraine that they would then have to replace later, but if the logistic and air superiority issues are close to real, they're just inviting further encroachment and/or attack by NATO, while it might be more expensive long term to rebuild, had they done a "US style" incursion, (deny C&C, comms, establish air superiority, take out power, other infrastructure,etc early on) they would have blunted Ukrainian resistance and gave the West a reason to pause. I fear this poor performance by Russia will send us into war faster.
