28. I think that Toba could be in that list. It was a super volcano eruption about 74000 years ago that spat out 3000 cubic KM of magma (That's 1000 times as much as ST Helens) some ash and magma even reached India. It caused a Volcanic winter for years and there is evidence that it reduced the global population to 10000 individuals. I think that might be among the worst disasters of all time.
