Our precious dog Kik brought our family 2 wild bunnies this Easter. He proudly walked up with a little furry ball hanging from his mouth, gently. I asked him to put it down and he did, Kik was so proud of his gift.

We released the bunnies back into the wild just a few days into our care we are aware that we are not equipped to save the bunnies or raise the bunnies but I just had to try and help them.

What a wonderful Easter surprise.

God Bless, the Reason for the Season.

  1. Its great your dog is so sweet. Sadly though those babies seem fed which means momma was feeding them. A mother rabbits only goes to her kits once maybe twice a day. I hope they made it or you found a nest, as they hve way better chances with momma.

  2. Look I love this video but I'm not hating I have bunnies and for babies bunnies u shouldn't have cut up paper use pellets or rabbit hay or some petsmart hamster stuff beacuse it can hurt then or give them disease

  3. You should leave them alone they live in the wild I'm a nurse they are not eating cause their scared so if I were you I won't let them go and they dont love being in the contaner

  4. It is ILLEGAL to take animals from the wild and keep them as pets. You can get a wildlife license, but this only allows you to raise and release them, not keep them as pets. Also, NEVER give rabbits sugary foods, including fruit, their diet should include only grasses and leafy greens… No fruits, no "yogurt" treats, no dog food (yeah, I see that back there…)

If you intend to "help" wildlife… PLEASE, for the love of those animals, do some research before you kill them via malnutrition.

  5. You said you were going to keep them…which keeping wild animals with proper licenses from your state (if you are in the U.S) is illegal…. plus, depending on the age of the bunnies (need to take them to a wild rabbit specialist) they may still need their mother's milk. And if they are past that stage, they need hay, not cantaloupe. Fruits should only be a special treat to rabbits. The sugar in them can mess with their digestive system, would in the end, could even cause death if feed as a meal. All I'm saying is keeping wild rabbits is most likely illegal and a very dumb idea that is rather rude to the rabbit. If you want a pet rabbit, do your research(NEVER IMPULSE BUY!!!) and adopt from a rabbit rescue center.
