  1. If spirits could manifest, residual or not why the fuck would we see clothing? I mean the clothing and body gear have no soul/spirit. This never made sense at all for me.

  2. Ok, I had read that there was a video being shown on a projector screen of a educational video with reenactments and it was a reflection from that prohection screen. I tgen ask wtf who and why was showing a video on projection screen out there. I dont even remember who said this but its something to strongly consider.

  3. Let's just say it, what I see clear as day is without question parts of human beings in action, the action of walking, no matter what people say I know what I see, some have a flash of bright light, a pinpoint of light, the other thing I notice is I see partial uniforms and equipment of some kind . Only one other fact I can see is that some of the motion could be repeated, it's hard to say because it also could be marching in unison together, I cannot be sure of one or the other. I'll say one thing for sure, there's human beings or what were human beings captured on film. I'm from a different era, so I don't know about photo shop or whatever, other than it being a phoney I don't know, I'm going by what I see. ?

  4. This is one of the most believable videos out there. First of all, back in 2001 an average family didn't have access to the tools needed for such good editing, and computers were more expensive and simple. By their voices we can also tell theybare trying to rationalize what they are seeing, and in most of staged ghost videos everyone is a terrible actor because they are not actually seeing anything, but in here they are very sure of what they are seeing and are discussing it, you can even feel the confusion on their voices, especially in the child (children are AWFUL actors in fake videos, but he doesn't seem like he is acting at all). Also, in fake videos the camera is always in the perfect position, almost without moving, to film the "ghosts", but in this video you can see that the father moves the camera around, actively looking for the phenomenon (which would also have made editing way harder back then).

  5. I just watched an episode of Monsterquest in which a video analyst expert found this inconclusive .
He did make an implausible guess as to how it could've been manipulated by the camera operator

  6. You know, it would be fucking nice if at least ONE person on YouTube could insert the entire video clip without a million pointless interruptions throughout the damn clip. It is seriously getting fucking annoying.

  7. I was on guard duty on an Army base in Arkansas years ago. It was the middle of the night and I saw LOTS of soldiers marching in the tree line. You could hear them rustling the ground litter. They were grey and shadowy like this. They were marching perpendicular to our camp and I just couldn't quite focus on any one in particular. I almost woke my sergeant up, but what am I gonna say, there's a bunch of ghosts attacking our position?

  8. Experienced the same type of thing at Port Hudson, Louisiana battlefield, it's a state park today. Port Hudson was the other part of the bookends opposite Vicksburg holding that section of the Miss River open for the Confederates to cross, transport troops and supplies, etc…The siege of Port Hudson occurred during the same time as the siege at Vicksburg.

At one point in the siege Union troops were planning to mount a charge to end it all by over-running the Confederate works. At one point along the line a brigade of Union infantry, 5 regiments, were poised at the bottom of a hill, in a creek bottom. After several probes testing the defenses, Union commanders decided it wasn't practical and called off the attack. One of the regiments, which I believe was the 58th Infantry (the state I can't remember), didn't get the word the brigade was being pulled out. The Confederates, from the vantage point on the high ground, saw that one regiment had been left behind. They used that chance to launch an attack and completely over-whelmed the lone regiment. I don't recall the casualty numbers of killed, wounded, captured but that Union regiment ceased to exist.

Well…today, after dark, you can go to that point in the line…there's a marker with the information where it happened. Just wait…soon you will see a Union regiment of infantry marching in column, 4-abreast. They climb the hill and then keep going straight up into the trees. If you kind of blink and wait, then you'll see a repeat of it. We stayed for a while and saw it happen several times. It was nerve-wracking at first, but soon you realize there is no danger.

Then when we knew another group of ghost chasers were heading up that trail…we pulled a stunt that really scared the heck out of 'em! Be happy to tell ya about it.

  9. The ghosts appear and disappear in the exact same locations as if those was walls, so it is probably a reflection or double exposure, mostly surely fake

  10. I remember stopping at Gettysburg on an 8th grade school trip to Washington DC my 8th grade year in 2002, and touring the battlefields. I remember the guide talking about ghosts, and for some reason their “presence” being noted by the smell of vanilla. Even back then I thought it was stupid and ridiculous. Ghosts aren’t real, but people have such an ingrained desire for some form of life after death, it’s easy to understand why so many people believe in them.

  11. Been to Gettysburg once when I was 10. I am no expert but are those residual entities caught in a loop. Is that possible? I mean to me it looks real.
