PLEASE SHARE: Dolly’s rescue story: Hope for Paws received a call about homeless dog on the streets. Sylva Kelegian and I arrived to find an extremely matted poodle. Her transformation from being so fearful to so loving is great to watch.

With over 30,000 stray, abused, abandoned and homeless dogs in Los Angeles alone, we always encourage adoption as a first choice for a pet.

  1. You could’ve made a cotton sweater with all that hair 🙂 thank you so much for saving her! In two years I graduate and I’m going to rescue a dog so I can change his life and he can change mine 🙂

  2. Eldad and his people are like angels to these poor forgotten animals. And all these loving dogs need is some love, some medical help, some TLC, some cleanup, and food, and they are once again loving sweet man's best friends.. 🙂

  3. Lol, what's with the incessant "Crocodile Dundee" need to grab the crotch of these dogs to find out if it's male or female? I wouldn't figure that it's so important it couldn't wait until examination at the vet's? I'm not trying to be making a crude joke or hurl any insults. Just curious as to why it's so important at the time, and can't wait.

  4. Still grieving the loss of my baby boy, seeing this brings a smile to my face and makes me look forward to adopting a little fur baby to love!

  5. Usually i don't like little dogs but this one caught my heartstrings when she offered her paw with that sweet look on her face

  6. Dogs are amazing. Even when she was in such a bad condition and afraid, Dolly let those strange people that cornered and caught her pet and even pick her up. I bet she was good for the groomer too.

I'm a groomer and I've noticed that the dogs with the worst matting are usually the best. It's so sad .

  7. Never seen such an adorable dog my entire life. So ironic when you think that saving animals it has first begun with… nazi. Nazi were the first who have seen animals like beings and gave them rights and protected them by law.

  8. Amazing work. I donated $50 to these wonderful people and I will again soon(PLEASE MATCH ME!). How do you become a foster parent in Los Angeles??
