My first, my worst and my craziest! Stranded & Trapped in Arctic, nordic, mountains, plains, plateaus, by a village store on an island by the family cabin. Blocked by mountains of Snow, can I escape?
All footage is 100% real and filmed by Norwegian Xplorer!

4 Hours of Surviving Blizzards. Trapped in Shocking, Savage, Arctic BLIZZARDS and Snow Storm Camping 🌨️ | Solo Van Life Stranded on Remote Frozen Arctic Mountain plateaus, in the arctic, in the nordics, hunkering down by a remote village store and by our family cabin in the mountains where the worst storm of my life nearly knock out my van! (Full Documentary). When the roads vanish in mountains of snow, I am left stranded in the snowy mountains and arctic plain—just me, my van, the one lost truck, a snow plow, emergency shelter, coop village store and a series of wild legendary record-breaking violent blizzards & incoming snowstorms, all in one massive grand slam of a movie. This is relaxing, asmr style, but with talking, so much wind and storm sound recorded by myself that you might sleep for weeks. ❄️🚐

AND I get caught in a massive tornado like BLIZZARD while exploring the remote Arctic mountains & the borderlands— Completely snowed in after relentless snowstorms and heavy snowfall cut off all roads. I have been trapped here in the area before in biggest blizzard of my life. I wasn’t chasing these storms, honestly, but they came and trapped me!

This isn’t Extreme American Montana, Alaska or Canadian cold… this is full-force Arctic and nordic winters, and blizzards hit differently here. Think snownados: swirling walls of snow tearing across the Arctic plains, fierce winds, and total whiteout conditions that send shivers down your spine. It’s wild, raw, and hauntingly beautiful.

🏔️ I camp in the middle of it all—tucked into my tiny cabin on wheels, by the village store, by our family cabin, in the arctic and many other places in my little vanlife van. It’s also cozy winter van life, but in one of the world’s most unforgiving environments.

🚐 I put my rig to the test—solo RV ice camping in winter, battling the cold, checking for leaks in prep for spring and summer rainstorms, and cooking comfort food like my first pizza in the van, coffee and coffee and coffee!

Female travelers: If you’re wondering—yes, it’s a safe place to camp solo for female travelers. Out here, no one bothers you. The people are kind, and the solitude is next level, even in the middle of town. You can rest your head safely here!

Grab a blanket, hit play, and ride out this Arctic storm with me—van life in the harshest winters, off-grid survival style.

Sometimes I wonder if a Truck Camper would be cool so I could get up some of these cool roads to the outlook and arctic towers, let me know about that my American, UK, Canadian & German friends who are building vehicles like that, any suggestions?

Part of the past 3 years arctic tour series: Chronological in this playlist:

Surviving my 3rd Arctic Winter of Extreme Van Life. Solo in Hurricanes, Blizzards, Snow Storms & Camping in Extreme Cold Freezing Temperatures.

🎬 Filmed in the Arctic frontier — real storms, real solitude, nothing fake. The frozen lands as they really are.

My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Hakkapalitta studless Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in America – USA and Canada.

  3. Hi Jarl,in response to your question, ‘What are you training for?":I’d like to compete in April or May in the 10K or the half marathon in Helsinki, though I’m not ruling out trail running or track either. We’ll see.Right now I’m training in Rokuan Kansallispuisto.Seems I inherited two great passions from my dad and my maternal grandfather… running and cycling. You should give running a try too. Then you could really say you’re free… like a moose.
    Have a nice day!

  5. We are about to have a stormy day here in Greenland. I just got myself a new TV and Chair. I cannot tell you how much i look forward to sit here cozy and watch your videos once again my friend. Thank you so much for your content.

  6. Wish we had regular winter storms like this in the UK.
Although we did have one rare storm back in the winter of 2018 when the village I live in was cut off by 9ft high snow drifts for 3 days. Couldn't get in our out. As quick as the snow ploughs cleared the snow, it just overwhelmed the roads
again within an hour or so. The winds were crazy to.
But sadly winters like this are few and far between now and becoming less and less frequent, thanks to global warming.

  7. Hey! Greetings from Bucharest! Although it's November 17th, today it was 16° and it hasn't frozen at all this fall. I'm "cooling off" with images from you.

  8. Extreme weather content at its very best. I can watch these over and over. I find them calming and love to unwind before drifting off to sleep watching them. Thank you from a grateful subscriber.

  9. Monday evening at 9 p.m., in my bed with my dog lying against my legs under the covers. In Morsang-sur-Orge (south of Paris).
Much better than any TV program.

  10. I have not watched the whole thing yet, but hope the insulation has helped. What I have seen is quite crazy. Be safe out there friend! Will watch this while I am working today. Must be quite the workout trying to walk around in that wind. 😊 We've had our typical Pineapple Express rain here. Cheers from Seattle!
