The description of Mt Roang's eruptions…I can't help but be reminded of Krakatoa, even if its consequences weren't as far-reaching.
I remembered the heatwave of June 2022, omg it was so hot than usual, it went up to around the 40s in celcius which was not usual for my area in Canada. I brought a ziplock bag full of ice to my school which I was attending at the time, I even kept watering myself like a plant. It was awful, I hated the heat.

You are not using the term "oversite" right. Oversite means "keep an eye on" or "lead a project". When someone is doing oversite on a project, they are examining it and making sure it turns out correctly. You need to look terms up before you use them.
If you leave USA 9/11 or the Japan earthquake and tsunami/nuclear disaster off of this, you are culturally blind. BTW, While the Tianjin explosion was an accident, and not terrorism, I can understand why some people might compare it to 9/11. The blast was so large that it could be seen from space. It was truly horrific. My sympathies to the survivors who suffered through the event.

NEWS FACT: Climate change has been happening for 4 1/2 billion years. This Planet has had DRASTIC climate changes where it has COMELETLY FROZEN, or nearly completely frozen several times, and most life has gone extinct during those events. The Mesozoic Period was actually hotter than it is now, and evolution went into hyperdrive, instead of causing mass extinctions, and there were dinosaurs and lush forests in Antarctica. The fossil record proves that climate change is an on going and natural process of the Planet. You cannot stop it without destroying all life on Earth. You can only prepare for it.
Heat waves are NOT climate change. They are HEAT WAVES. They happen all throughout modern history- meaning ALL THROUGH the 20th Century and now. We had these in the 1960's and they happened even earlier. If you want CLIMATE CHANGE, explain why THE NORTHEAST AMERICAN REGION has ACTUALLY BEEN GETTING COLDER.
