Les Grands Buffets, located in Narbonne the south of France, is known to be one one of the best buffets in the world – that’s why there’s a 7 month waiting list to get in!

On the menu you’ll find a lobster pyramid, all you can eat foie gras, caviar and charcuteries, a huge selection of Auguste Escoffier French foods cooked to order, pressed duck known as canard au sang, a huge hot food station, and the world’s largest cheese board! There’s so much to eat, and such a selection – easily the most French food available to eat in one meal in the world.

On top of that, Les Grands Buffets decoration is inspired by none over than Versailles itself with some of the biggest and greatest French art and designers coming to decorate and design the four different dining sections. This truly is the buffet of all buffets!

But the question is, for just 62.90 Euros ($72.57) per person, how can they serve you all of this?

  2. I used to be the executive chef for a well known Vegas buffet and I can safely say buffets are detrimental to animal husbandry and sustainable seafood. The amount of food consumed AND thrown away are mind boggling. There is no way this is sustainable in the long run.

  3. Mark it's like you read my mind and knew I've been searching for videos with you and Jeffrey! Your videos with Jeffrey are the best and are always hilarious! Keep them coming please!

  4. To@jeanquick1229; I thought I was the only person had the same question lol it seems like it’s nothing that he doesn’t like and for him to be so little he eats everything, but at the same time I just thinks he is greedy he has something to say about everything unless he just pretends that everything is good to keep from hurting people feelings, because I’m sure you have heard the saying if you don’t have nothing good to say don’t say anything lol

  5. Amazing place with amazing food. It was worth every penny and there was plenty for everyones taste and there were no line ups for food considering the buffet is so big.

They can make it possible and turn in a profit due to the following:

    – They calculate the number of guests for each night as reservations are mandatory. So they know exactly what quantity of food to serve to control costs.
    – Its France and most of the dishes are local dishes with local ingredients, so again costs are reasonable.
    – The food is HEAVY, people get full quickly, never underestimate how rich french food really is.

If you go, be strategic and go easy on the cold section with the pates, those are very fatty and will fill you up before you get to the main dishes.
