first aid: never move some one badly injured to avoid worsen the situation. Probably the dog was okay until been dragged out from underneath the car and injure to her even more.

These folks are the real heroes. It takes serious guts to walk up to an animal in pain, not knowing how it'll react. I’ve been bitten by dogs before while trying to help … I know the pain. A hurting dog can bite, but they still go in, no fear, just heart. Salute to every animal rescuer out there. 🙌🐾

Fun story: my best friend worked in corporate America out of college and worked his way up the ladder at a Big Four company. His yearly salary was $450k at one point.
His mental health and overall happiness was sucked out of him over his 12 year tenure. Soon after he partnered with some people to create prosthetics for dogs. He became a new person from it. He told me multiple times that no amount of money he made in corporate compared to the fulfillment he felt from helping out dogs. It was beautiful.
