► BIG NEWS: Watch Mark Wiens and Nat Geo #EpicFoodJourneys: https://youtu.be/MY3Qy6vAbZQ?si=Y2drp-DH9h_CbMRZ
Good morning from Mangily, Madagascar, a fishing village on the Mozambique channel coast. This village is so beautiful, from the ocean, to the flora and fauna, to the local Malagasy street food and seafood.
Today we’re first starting with a canoe ride in the ocean to see how they go fishing. Then we’ll have an incredible Malagasy local breakfast of fish, beans, and rice on the streets of Mangily village. Then we’ll see the local fresh seafood catch on the beach, but a huge red snapper and local lobsters, and then go back to a local home to have an ultimate Malagasy bbq.
The food and culture in the episode was truly breathtaking! Madagascar is a fascinating country; the people are so friendly, the nature is incredible, and the food is outstanding.
Thank you to Michael Rakotomahefa for hosting us, and Coco, Andry (https://madagascar-discovery.com/), and Mario for taking me around on this ultimate Madagascar street food tour in Mangily!

The sebu meat looks very rich. I suspect it's really delicious.
SOOOOO lovely to see young kids not playing with I-Pads – but are enjoying themselves with play. Brilliant – I just love to learn so much about the culture of food. Thanks.
Mark, it's a well known fact, you need hot spicey food …go contact Sean Evans from the hot wing challenge show. I'd love to see that!
Wow, what a wonderful village. I liked the fact that you shared your meal with the kids I really enjoyed that. Congrats Marks.

Your one biters are Gross. I wonder how you can get the taste of the product in one biter. Looks Gross. Ugh!!!
Mark Wiens, the best Youtuber! 👏😄
I was just watching a documentary on worst prisons on earth and Madagascar was like one of the top 5. Not because they are mean but because they are poor. Prisoners are only fed every 3 days, the poop and pee where they sleep no toilets, water is scarce people just die of malnutrion and disease. just poor.
👍
The video editing here is insane. Good work.
The chili sauce in Madagascar is the best! Breakfast, lunch or dinner!!!! My fav!!
The seafood feast looks delicious, especially the lobster 🦞 😋
Very perverse dump nail!!! Disgusting
Delicioso
Omgoodness!! I just had to watch this episode 2-3 times back to back taking in every aspect of this spectacular documented treasure. The beans and rice with the grilled local catch looks pleasingly fulfilling especially drizzled with the fresh chili sauce. The people from the village were so kind and provided warming hospitality bringing the experience a pleasant vibe. The seafood is fresh & massive in size which means everyone will eat and be satisfied gracefully. This episode is phenomenal throughout captivating the land, sea, & enrichment of natural beauty. The children are precious and grateful for the guest being present. Thanks Mark for this exclusive episode bringing together such marvelous documentary, cultural education, & intriguing lifestyles. This made my day!! So anticipating on the next upload!! Wishing you & your family safe travels and many more blessings always!! Cheers!! 🍛🦀🦞🦐🦑🦪🌊🛶🍻

I get that you want to show extreme foods but you have no respect for the creature Andrew Zimmen does the same thing but he at least shows respect to the animal I used yo really like you know gave u many chances but you’re an asshole
Amateur. Anyone who eats heat regularly knows water doesn't do anything. It's like adding water to oil.
