After a Long Beach father of five is killed in a hit-and-run crash, his family is devastated while the suspect remains at large.

On April 14, Edward Corral, 41, who also goes by the nicknames “Tito,” and “Chico,” was fatally struck while crossing the street.

Tito spent his entire life in Long Beach and his family said he loved being a part of the local community. But tragically, the street where he loved to walk also became the street where his life ended.

Tito’s grieving wife, said she had to explain to her five children — ranging in age from 4 to 19 years old — that their father was not coming home.

  2. Why are there so many cowards that flee the scene after hitting someone with a car? Can’t even check on the person and make a phone call to describe the situation. That doesn’t sound hard.

  3. Please be respectful with your comments Chico was a good person loved his wife and kids this is a great loss for them I can’t believe that people can be so cold! God bless Chico I will pray the Rosary for him and his family!

  4. This is one of my biggest fears because i walk everywhere. If you're a pedestrian, be careful. People who walk do not have the right of way. A lot of these drivers are reckless and under the influence. And worst of all they have little regard for human life. Be cautious when walking or riding a bike
