Spread The Viralist

Often misrepresented in pop culture, Hyenas are family orientated animals who live in female dominant clans, but when they are challenged by another predator or are on the hunt, they are a formidable force to be reckoned with.

  1. Nicely edited video but there is absolutely no evidence shown that that second lion came to hepllp the first one. Watch again. Never in the footage are they shown together fighting off the hyenas. I doubt that the footage is even from the same moment in time.

  2. Somebody was arguing in Savage kingdom that the narrator Charles Dance over hyped Hyena and Hyena always lost, and I told him, he was damn wrong, Hyena can devour a lion in fraction of minutes.

  3. I don't view hyenas as they are in pop culture and The Lion King (1994) I view them as symbols of nature. I will even feature striped hyenas as characters in my fictional books with anthropomorpic animals.

  4. 15:00 i got a grin with this. every foray in carnivore-land had a minimum of 2 high powered rifles toted by experienced guides/escorts. always. especially, i imagine with tourist safaris.
