  1. the dangerous thing about this snake is the venom they produced can shut down peoples nerves system and paralyzed them

  2. A small fact: there has only been 2 black mamba bites in human history where the victim survived and both times it was the same person.

  3. What I really appreciate is the way you defer to the person with more expertise and don't take any chances or show off with the animal. Doing it by the book and safely while being educational and not arrogant.

  4. One on one, by some distance, this is the most dangerous snake in the world. They have the fourth most potent venom of land snakes (6th if sea snakes are included) BUT their venom is the fastest acting venom in the entire snake world.

It gets worse. They have the longest fangs of any elapid and because of their massive size, they can reach any point on your body to bite you. Oh, they are also the fastest moving snakes in the world so good luck with that.

Lastly… They are extremely aggressive and will bite repeatedly.
