4. that trapped infected in the rubble is not in the shambler state. that skips clicker. i’d say it’s an in between of runner and clicker, since it still has sight with his one eye.

5. Good series so far except for this episode, I didn’t enjoy the homosexuality at all, had to skip through several parts that didn’t need to be in there to convey they were homos in love or whatever… should just implied it like the game if it that had to be in there at all.

8. This episode was filmed in High River, Alberta about 15 mins from my house. Its an abandoned community to the West of the town that was built on a flood plain. Pretty cool.

9. It was a wonderful story but as a long time player of the game, there is nothing like this episode in the game at all. I felt betrayed as I expected the show to be much closer to the game. False advertising in my opinion.

    Nick Offerman did a career making performance here.
    They went a tad long with the sex scenes, but that's such a minor thing.
    Anyway…..they set a high bar here. Well done.

12. Would of been nice to see them have one more episode. They could of died after Joel but, either way good story and good way to open the character.
    But, with these adoptions. Is this a retcon or just a different version of the TLou game series? TLoU game series is the true canon?

Half of what you said in this video is incorrect, first of all the shambler stage of the infection is last, first it's the runners, then the stalkers, then the clickers, then the bloaters, then the shamblers, the shamblers don't even come into the game until The Last Of Us 2, secondly, you said Bill was in a dark place in the game because Frank died a long time ago, Bill didn't even know Frank was dead until he found his body hanging, an this was at the end of the chapter, after Bill finds Frank's body, he helps us start the car, an then he leaves us, we never see him again after that, thirdly, Joel didn't tell Ellie about the music codes, Ellie figured it out herself by tricking Joel, an Joel was about to get angry about it only for he was interrupted by Tes, Joel never told Ellie anything about the music codes, there's a few other things you got wrong but I can't remember now

This is the magic of The Last of Us, it's so compelling you will deeply rooted into it, I remember the day the first time I've played this game I was so into the story I played 12hrs straight untill my eyes automatically shuts down 😂, and Yes Charlie this episode is the Best One yet, the most dramatic and the most emotional yet..

    At the beginning of the episode I didn’t really care for them too much and wanted more of Joel and Ellie, but just after the halfway point I was fully invested in bill and franks story. Not often I think about a tv show episode the day after watching it, beautiful piece of writing imo

30. I have to admit, this episode is very much like an anime filler episode to me. Everything that happens before Joel and Ellie arrives at Bill's house is unnecessary to the overall plot of the show. It's more of a side story that doesn't actually add anything to the central storyline.

31. This episode was nothing like the game

32. I think the window reference at the end of the episode was to harken to the end of the 2nd game where Ellie leaves the house and we see her leave through the window as the curtains sways in the wind. It's almost 1 for 1 the way it played out.
    Also, I saw it mentioned somewhere else (I thought it was interesting) that the suicide note was a bit of an easter egg to the notes and letters you find in the game as you play; even down to mentioning the code to his bunker which was how you gained access to the secret stashes and safes in the game.

33. This should be called The Depravation Episode. To tell the audience its fine for men with men be together and just took their lives as they wish when they "feel like" is pure stupidity. Depravation at its finest. 1/10 from me. it was a struggle for me to completly watch this episode.
