1. That dude rescuing the kid from the tracks totally had his wits about him that day! Not sure what he was doing on the tracks himself (if you watch he comes from the other side near the fence), but the next nearest guy to reach the mother would have been too slow – he got to her right after the train reached the spot where the kid had been. So without that hero running in and throwing the kid onto the platform, the kid would have died guaranteed.
