🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. Now i wanted to make some Norwegian whale stew, like theirs. You should taste their salmon, seen a lot from Færøyene, seagulls next also?

  2. I don't actually see an issue with this whale hunt. I understand how shocking it looks but all animal slaughter is shocking. People don't see a problem with buying fish from a grocery story but they take issue with this. Commercial fishing is awful for the environment. These people aren't commercial fishing nor are they slaughtering 100s of 1000s of animals. They're eating local and they're feeding their families. I see nothing wrong with this. I'd love to visit some day. I think the primitive nature of this type of hunting is a little shocking but the primitive way they hunt these whales is also what helps prevent over harvesting of these animals.

  3. I think you covered this topic pretty well. Hopefully there aren't repercussion for producing a documentary style video like this. Keep it up Sonny and Crew
