  1. For those wondering what happened to global warming:

"A warming climate can contribute to the intensity of heat waves by increasing the chances of very hot days and nights. Climate warming also increases evaporation on land, which can worsen drought and create conditions more prone to wildfire and a longer wildfire season. A warming atmosphere is also associated with heavier precipitation events (rain and snowstorms) through increases in the air’s capacity to hold moisture."

While counterintuitive, this is exactly what's expected to happen due to global warming.

  5. There’s a picture of me and my little brother playing in the snow in 2014. The snow was higher than our street signs. We had 3 weeks off of school and it was the best

  6. I grew up just outside Chicago, so I'm very familiar with winter and snow, and I've seen a wall of snow move in like that more times than I like to think about. Only been though

  7. Apparently people didn’t heed the warning? because people have to get to work
My heart goes out to these people
Here in Canada we’re used to this and minus 45-50 Celsius, but when it hits a place where no one is used to it
Or prepared in any really sad to see

  8. They need something like a tesla machine that's in the sky that generates heat like the sun and melts the snow
And when they have a working model to set up as many as possible and stop the snow from causing this to happen
It's like a cellphone tower except with a big ball that gets really hot and melts the snow before it falls and to set up hundreds everywhere to stop snow from causing these problems

  9. This was actually a really fun list to watch. I definitely agree that movement in these types of games is one of the most important and impactful aspects that most people sort of overlook.

  10. This story is genuinely so heart wrenching as an only kid with a single dad. The relationship between a father and a daughter is unique and special, and I know my dad isn't
