LARGE EMERGENCY SHELTER | Cities Skylines: Natural Disasters Gameplay – Part 6

Spread The Viralist

Cities Skylines Natural Disasters DLC! This gameplay will be within the “Island Hopping” scenario in Cities Skylines. All disasters will still be in play as we must build on an archipelago type map. The tsunami disaster will be, by far, the most devastating to my city in this let’s play.

Cities Skylines Natural Disaster [Destroying 100,000+ Population]:

Cities Skylines Natural Disasters Steam Description:
“Natural Disasters features a catalog of catastrophes to challenge mayor-players everywhere, including planning with early warning systems and emergency routes, devastating and destructive disaster effects, and caring for the populace as they struggle to rebuild. The expansion will also update Cities: Skylines with a new scenario editor and gameplay mode, allowing players to finally win – or lose – the game on their own terms.

Natural Disasters will include:
Deep, Impactful Gameplay: Keep your city going through the devastation of several possible doomsday scenarios, from towering infernos to the day the sky exploded

With Great Power Comes Great Response Abilities: Plan for, and respond to, disasters using early warning systems, countermeasures, and new disaster responses such as helicopters and evacuations – finally, a Paradox game where “Comet Sighted” actually means something

An Objectively Good Feature: Scenario Mode – Natural Disasters expansion includes 5 pre-made scenarios to challenge disaster masters, with custom game objectives such as starting cities, win conditions, time limits, losing conditions and more! The Natural Disasters Scenarios expands on the Scenario Editor, which is a free update for all players that allows them to create and share their own custom made scenarios

Chirpocalypse Now: Heck yeah, new hats for Chirper

Radio Saved the Video Game: A new broadcast network is introduced, helping to rapidly spread evacuation warnings and emergency alerts”

My channel focuses on strategy games and indies. Every let’s play/gameplay video will include an on camera intro and outro to hopefully provide additional information on the topic of that video!

  1. Drew, I'm a bit confused. Normally, I would think that replacing low-density res with high-density is the right choice- that's what I would do. But apparently, people in low-density res reproduce, while people in high-density res do not. Which do you think is the best thing to have more of?

  2. Drew call me crazy but if people move out when you demolish their homes and put in apartments, I'm assuming your population loss after that 7.0 tsunami was from survivors with nowhere to live.

  3. Build on the island that you just built the new disaster response on cuz if an earthquake and tsunami hit the first one that they presumed you would settle on, and now the second, it should now be fairly safe from at least earthquakes. Just gotta look at the patterns my dude

  4. Drew pls put the radio mast in the next episode down and a small shelter in the industry area cause if you have a radio mast more people get warned and if you have an shelter near the industry people that are working can seek shelter faster and more lives are saved !!!
