  1. I remember watching Alien when I was around 5 or 6 years old back in 1985-86. The alien bursting out of his chest scared the hell out of me!

  2. Dude, fuck The Beyond. That entire movie was hard to watch, even with the clear age of the effects and such showing. I'd argue that added to the scare factor, with all the effects being practical as opposed to CGI.

  3. Whey is not terrifier 2 the bedroom kill should be #1 and number 2 A terrifier 2 kill number 3 should be a terrifier 2 kill all of this numbers should be terrifier 2 kills

  4. I'm amazed the sawed in half scene from Terrifier didn't make the list. Then again pretty much the entire scene would have to be censored lmao. I was fine with most of the scenes in that movie but I had to look away so much during that one😭

  5. I don't love CGI heavy modern horror (late 90's – present). My personal list of the OG franchise horror kills would be…
    Elm Street – Dream Warriors, teen puppeteered to his death by his own muscles and tendons;
    Halloween – Curse of Michael Myers, nurse hung from wall spike by her head;
    Friday the 13th – Jason Lives, sheriff bent double backwards, sick AND hilarious at the same time;
    Hellraiser – first hammer victim who has his jaw and teeth completely smashed in (oddly for that franchise, nasty because it is so down (or up) to earth);
    TCM – various, surprisingly not the chainsaw-ings, but being smashed in the skull by a sledgehammer;
    Child's Play/Chucky films – 2, the darkly comic doll-eye machine piercing the man's real eyeballs;
    Puppet Master – I favour the woman who gets her face tunnelled through as she is human. Gallagher getting his comeuppance is nasty but he is basically a living doll, and he so deserves it that it is more satisfying than nasty.

    I favour the esoteric and lesser-known/cared about over the obvious, so don't sue me…
