26. Yes you can keep female Betta's together in a tank. Female only tanks are known as sorority tanks. I breed and show Bettas all over the country and I keep my breeding females in a tank together.

You could have taken your time looking for fish you know how long it takes cop's to come out in a real emergency. 35. Female betta fish can be housed together. On that size of the fountain you can house maybe up to 4-6. Hope this helps!
