It’s been ONE YEAR since I crashed my dirt bike due to whiskey throttle gone wrong. Time flies by so quickly. Here is the UNCUT/UNEDITED version of my crash.

  1. 😮😮😮Hello Chay…considering the content… another great video…I'm sure someone is thinking that you still can't be hurting…hahaha…guess that they never been there…when I broke my ribs I was sore and tender for almost a year…love you guys…your friend from Ohio…Tony

  2. I should have watched with headphones on. My dog kept looking around to see the source of the cries of pain. I'm afraid of traumatizing him sometimes from watching videos.

  3. Cheyleesi, that was a pretty hard hit. I'm happy you didn't get all kinds of busted up. I mean you took some battle damage and whatnot but no plates, screws, rods or skeletal traction. Whew!
I'm over 100 broken bones at this point so I'm all too aware of the long term problems from a nasty wreck. The nerve damage in the knee will ease up, it will take years but some sensation will eventually come back, perhaps most? I used to be able to hold a cigarette lighter to the side of my leg until the room started to stink from the burned flesh but now I have pretty good sensation, maybe 60%?
Be very careful with the herniated disk. Those things can be a bit problematic. Don't move in such a fashion as to ever put pressure on any nerves in there. In the worst case you can get a laminectomy. That's where they remove the disk entirely. Try to avoid that if you can and for as long as you can because without the disk the bones will rub together and eventually wear down and that's where the real pain will begin. So take the best care possible of what's left in there and keep it in there as long as you can. Just don't let it put too much pressure on a nerve where it begins to damage the nerve. When it gets like that is when you get it removed. You get about 20-25 years without a disk(on average) before it wears deep into the bone. After that point all they can do is a fusion which pretty much cripples you. Since you're so young be aware of that fact and keep it in the back of your mind. Any good and honest surgeon will tell you these things if you ask them, so quiz your doctor next time you see 'em.
    Be safe.

  4. I amazed you could even get out a scream let alone ride out of there in was in something very similar there’s was no way I could scream lmao I was just hitting constant loud grunts lmaoooo

  5. I had a high side in 1986 and to this day I have a hard time watching people crash. I applaud you for being able to get back on and ride it out. I had the same experience. I am glad to also see that it didn't put it off riding in general. After I got home I had planned on never riding again and then the unexpected happened. My then wife called from work after having a miserable day and finding that she had locked her keys in the car which left me no choice but to ride to rescue her. It was the longest mile of my life but it made me realize just how much I love to ride.

  6. I had a work accident around 7 years ago. For the first 3 months after it I had no feeling from the waist down. Fast forward to today my left foot is still kinda numb, I can feel the deep pressure but a light touch from a sock I can't feel. I wanted to get a bike and idk how many dealerships I went to, they allowed me to sit on new and used ones just to see if I can shift them. Now I'm out on my own on 2 wheels enjoying it and loving every bit of it

  7. A valuable lesson in what you said .. Any day you are not "Feeling It" stay off the bikes weather it's street or dirt… I have been riding over 30 years and when my gut tells me today is not the day I listen . Cause like yourself the days I was not feeling it were the days I got hurt or something happened.

  8. Being a 60 year old man this still brings tears to me knowing the pain you were in. When I have the money I will be ordering stickers and other merchandise from you.

  9. As a rider this is so hard to watch especially when it is someone you care about. I know we only met one time, and the was at the Texas Moto Fest. But being such a big fan of you and Josh and I watch all you videos, si it's like I've known you all for along time. I'm so glad you came through this so well. You are a strong woman. And it did not stop you from riding motorcycles. You are an inspiration to all riders. Keep the videos coming. I'm one of your biggest fans.

  10. So glad you have Josh, he truly loves the shit out of you, he was terrified for you but he knew you would feed off of his reaction and you needed calm reassuring. Love your videos, this one not so much. Hurts seeing it.

  11. I was here for the root accident with josh, and I was here for your unpleasant introduction to the tree. My god you precious woman this was so serious. Thankful for youth, strength, Josh etc. So about the whole "OMG helmet blah blah" Yes. EMTs will say that was a bad move, HOWEVER They do assess the situation just like josh did. He checked limbs function, and so many other things the "professionals" do. THe state your helmet was in, yes. I think it all worked out the best it could for the situation. Telling you you're fine was so important. A little white lie is better than the panic. SO empowering to you. Josh is a fucking Angel. "All your limbs work and you're breathing" yup. So. I know this has been crazy. I crashed on my eMTB in June of 2020 on concrete into the grass at a park at 27MPH. NO GEAR 'cept gloves. IT's a Mountain bike with a STRONG/FAST motor, and it didn't hurt any less than a bike with an engine etc. STILL have the nerve damage in my face/hands/arms/shoulders etc. with some neck issues. BUT I'm alive. SO GLAD we're still here! Another great fact for me, Your uncle cares SOOO deeply for his precious niece, That's just fucking awesome.

  12. It sounded like you were dying. I hope someone like Josh will be there to encourage me if I ever crash. What a nurturing man. I bet he was panicking on the inside but holding it together for you. It was an intimate and scary moment.

I'm sorry this happened Chey. Given your injuries idling back to the trailhead ws probably a good decision. You can always have EMS come to you. Sometimes it's the best or only option.

  13. So glad you’re ok.

But hey, I gotta say,(here’s where I sound like an insensitive A hole😂) that shot of the sky through the trees while your camera was laying on the ground is awesome. I snatched a screenshot to use as my new wallpaper.

  14. keep in mind helmets got pull tubs on the bottom to pull the pads out in case of a crash in order to not put pressure on the head when removing the helmet. I know in a panic situation it's not that simple but I just wanted to say it in case you didn't know.
