My parents were in the 2011 Joplin Missouri EF-5 tornado, they were safe in the church basement, but most of the building was destroyed.

Not so fun fact: If a tornado looks as if it as stationary, You should Immediately get out of there if you want to live to tell the tale.
Why you ask? If a tornado seems stationary, That means your right in its path.
