Guess it's a good thing his son doesn't watch Odd Squad yet. I still maintain it is one of the worst dystopias I've ever seen. MatPat would go insane over it.
Another theory: What if the villians steal the tech Ryder made from him and maybe he's too ashamed to tell anybody. Then again we would have to question why Ryder are building these.
