I'm not a professional or nothing but back n the days we use to run a 396 block n they were bad to blow till we fig out right above the time gear we would take a drill a good size hole right above the timing gear once we done that it would let the oil get back to the bottom alot faster n it wouldn't blow near as quick but that wus the flaw on the 396blocks now n

8. I feel for ya and understand what you’re going through , but I learned a long time ago that slamming an engine builder is not a good look. Think about this, what are you gonna do if something similar happens with your next engine builder? Doesn’t matter how big of a rockstar you are or become , if you slam on people that do work for you after you’ve stated you’ve run the best numbers you’ve ever ran, some people may not want to deal with you- especially sponsors. I don’t know who your builder was, but I’m sure he has loyal customers as well. Maybe not as many followers as you have but I’m sure he will continue onward as you will. Lying isn’t a good look for him, if he indeed lied to you. Parts break, wrecks happen. Don’t take it personal. I can promise you it’ll happen again if you race long enough. 19. Mid video Billy said he thought it threw a rod and Box performance was going to make it right. Having a counter weight come out is unusual and also did very little to the engine. For Box performance to lie about the work done and put your life in jeopardy is inexcusable. You'll pick back up and keep flying safe.

31. Back when you were having the motor built and you said who was doing and I thought, "who the hell is Box performance"? Thought maybe you found someone who built that class of engine cheaper than say Steve Morris. But the right off the rip you had oiling issues, clue #1 boy's!!! That immediately told me the motor wasn't right, and I even told my wife that it wouldn't last!(not that she really listens to or cares about my car sht) lol. Then them lying about it, yeah I'd be done with them too! You honestly would have been better just buying a Blueprint 540 power adder motor!!! Hell Derek from vice grip garage baught one ,put a procharger on it and beat it in burnout contest and crap, it's still running good!!! Probably a whole lot cheaper too! But you're rolling, so call Steve Morris, or Morgan and Sons and be done with it!!!

I'm so sorry ,.but really glad you are fine with out injury, this episode made me research Mallory crank slugs and boy did the information came pouring out, from blocks cut in half, I have never seen or heard about this issue. Holly cow, even welding cracks and the slugs come out anyways, apparently the victims of this issue ends up putting the slugs in the side 😳 instead of the end, some welded caps over the slugs, but I still see cracking with that idea 💡, wow race car shit is incredible for learning new stuff 👏 👍

37. I just posted on a box video and told them how to move forward . I hope they follow my advice for you. If not this is a potential business ending mistake. OR if not that is going to put a big dent in their word of mouth and new sales. We all make mistakes but you should not have got 2 answers. That tells me they are complacent in their responsibility. But Un fortunatly it is everywhere now. People just seem to care for money over people in this crazy world. They claim 40 yrs in business So this should have been a no brainier on heir end, The have to PAY for your damages to get the car fixed including everyone`s labor rate.

42. I don't know , have never seen Mallory metal installed in a crank at edge always installed in counter weight from side so centrifugal force can't throw out ! That crank now has a crack in it I'll bet at edge , wow time for aluminum rods and a new crank ! Keith
