  1. Re: Auto level … I do not believe that the Auto level function crops in to level the image. And I believe it can achieve level from within 3° of level, in either portrait- or landscape-oriented shooting, by rotating the sensor using the IBIS system.

  2. If Canon's digital zoom works like the 4k crop mode, then cropping afterwards will lead to worse video quality because you crop after binning/downsampling has been applied. Binning/downsampling reduces the angular resolution.

  3. Even though I haven't saved enough to go mirrorless with Canon ( will keep going with my 6D and L glass etc for a little longer) still enjoyed the very clear video.

  4. 43:53 Are you sure that Auto Level crops in? Isn't that this new feature they kept advertising where the camera uses the IBIS to physicaly roatate the sensor to align the image with the horizon?

Also, what is the bug at 48:58? To me, it looks like it's doing what it is supposed to? when you select the set ok button it switches to the highlighted case, making its font light blue to let you know which one is chosen. Or am I missing something? what is it supposed to do if not that?
