12. Well, well, well. Hi there! Dreamcatcher are outdoing themselves here once again. Musically, the song is a fantastic journey. There actually are "cute" parts, but there also are parts where the guitars go full metal. The variations in BEcause remind me of their previous masterpiece, Deja Vu. The bridge with SuA's slow rap and Yoohyeon's adlibs is possibly the most beautiful one they have ever done.
    
    About the meaning: According to Dami, BEcause is about love becoming obsession. And also, this is a stand-alone story. They go back to their horror roots, which I really enjoy. They noted that if you look at "BE" as a written Chinese character "悲“, that would mean "sadness". So the song title would mean "The Cause of Sadness". And that would make the lyric "because I like you" to maybe mean "the cause of sadness is I like you".
    
    The video picks up on that. JiU seems to be the puppet master here (or her doppelganger!). She is the one trapping the other members and turning them into puppets, but Gahyeon tries to escape (as you can see by her throwing off the cage right in the beginning). It seems JiU catches her again though, "because she likes her". And I didn't even touch on the references to the movie "Us" yet, there is so much going on. The lyrics are even creepier. SuA sings: "Your face turns blue, blue. Your expression is like ocean view.", hinting at strangulation due to the one being obsessed taking things way, way too far. Dreamcatcher are clearly not afraid to tackle the difficult subjects, and they do it masterfully here – again. For me, this is more than just pop, it is art.

14. This is good man you should do more 30 – 40 mins uploads, we'll be here for it. Not a lot of reacters follow through MVs with the behind the scenes but with Deukae you're fortunate because they don't skimp on content. Their behind vlogs are always worth it and YES that's them keeping it real off stage and off cam. Their co. policy-wise are pretty chill (by kpop's standards I mean) at what the girls can or can't do, say or goof off any way they want. They don't cover up their tattoos (a RARITY if we're to talk about other kpop acts' vlogs) for one. Trust me that deep dive is gonna be fun.

    although at its face it could be taken as a song about obsessive love, it gets a bit darker when taken in context of their discography. a lot of their songs are about maintaining your identity despite external pressure. that is why you see a lot of duplicates and mirrors throughout this music video and their older mvs. when taken in this context, the song is really about one's internal conflict between good and evil – how your dark side is trying to tempt you and even kill your good side. with this in mind you can grasps all the temptation imagery and even scenes where one's reflection is trying to strangle the other turning it's face 'blue like an ocean view'.

    like most of their videos, they use a lot of pop-culture references to help convey their themes. you can see doppleganger references from the movie 'us' where the evil half tries to take over. during the rap section you can hear the iconic screech from the movie psycho which has themes of dual personality disorder. a lot of the visual imagery uses concepts from alice in wonderland, a story essentially about someone trying to find their identity in a world where everyone else has a personality disorder/crisis. well there's a lot more but this should give you the idea to pick out the rest.

    try their nightmare series first since they really go old school, low budget filming when they were just starting out from ground zero. it starts off with their debut 'chase me'.

17. FYI again : They also said during their times in a variety show called Weekly Idol that this song is about a love-turns-into-obsessive and toxic(?) relationship. The word of "BE" in a form of capital words came from Hanja word that means "sadness", and so it represent with their hands gesture that symbolizing the word. And one interesting fact about this mv, it was inspired from a horror movie called Us.
