There are a couple of things pythons and anacondas have in common. First, they are both non-venomous snakes that kill their prey by constriction. Why use venom when you could just take them down by just giving them a hug – a breath-restricting hug. Also, they are top predators whose presence spells doom for prey, and you never underestimate their ruthlessness. Of course, the wild is no respecter of person or animal, and some animals have made the mistake of testing the anaconda or python.

Those are some really interesting stories, there are no anacondas in my country but I remember finding a snake in the woods while it was fighting with a squirrel, pretty impressive!

Those clips where the python was guarding its nest in the hollow tree that's the same tree in each clip just with different aggressors. It's a setup content setup
In the video, you said " there's no was that a python would try to swallow itself". However that is not true. A friend of ours had 2 of them and at 1 point, the male actually DID try to swallow itself. A few weeks later, the male python ate his roommate (a female python that he had lived with for a very long time. It truly was a shame.
