Hojai (Assam), May 15 (ANI): Many villages were inundated as the flood situation remained gloomy in the Hojai district of Assam on May 15. The PWD road connecting Hojai and West Karbi Anglong submerged in floodwater. Normal life hit out of gear. Incessant rainfall for the past few days wreaked havoc in parts of Assam.(SS)

Situation is getting very worse day by day here… We the people of Barak valley are totally disconnected… Railways, roadways are all destroyed in landslide… Water level is rising alarmingly per hour and still it's raining… Assam is facing very tough situation now… Please pray for our land🙏
