  1. ND is hands down the worst DLC. I played loads of city skylines when it first came out, sunk about 200 hours in, then forgot about it. Bought all the DLC in one go when the Paradox management sale was on for less than half price. Sunk 12 hours into building a new city, had some fun with earthquakes and sink holes, then got hit by a Tsunami which killed literally the entire population and destroyed every single building. Have not played with them since. Disasters are fun but it shouldn't be game ending given how much of a time sink building a city can be.

  2. I really wish water levels in CS were easier to manage. I’m working on the same map and have been trying to develop the existing lake on it into a tourist/leisure area with a quay around it. I just can’t get the water level right though. I end up either causing a bad flood or the level being way too low. I’ve been trying the water tool with the extra landscaping mod but still can’t figure it out. I’m probably doing it wrong but wish it was simpler. Waterside assets like restaurant pier, marina etc never seem to sit quite right either.

  3. Am loving this series. So much helpful information that shows how things work in a really calm and engaging way. I’ve been watching it simultaneously with Overcharged Egg’s noobs guide and love seeing the different styles of play and design on the same map. Thank you for your work – look forward to the last few episodes in this series.

  4. My absolute favourite dlc. Finally ads a bit of danger and harm to the gameplay. Not only build and then make a new game. Now the game can kill you. Love it. Best DLC. I wish they added more. Like wars, nucleor fallout if you can't supply nucleor powerplants with electricity

  5. I really Love this series i Fell in Love with this Game a couple of weeks ago and this beginner Guide really helped me so much in getting a deeper understanding of the Game. Thanks so much. I wouldve Loved to See you do Something with the canals though because thats Something i always struggle with.

  6. With the airports DLC, I tend to hide the fire, police, and emergency helicopters inside the airport area. It's where they seem to make the most sense to me. Plus you get to have a bit of cool helicopter traffic at your airport.

  7. I enable the free WiFi policy when I have coverage from the radio masts. Looks great and makes a lot of sense doing that don't play with the disasters on. But if you have a landfill or a cemetery you don't have to empty it just collapse or sink hole it

  8. put the observatory up with the deep space radar dish and weather station, it will look good, if there is space you could put the climate research station too, I like the group those assets

  9. That trumpet is just begging for a connection to the collector leading to the new neighbourhood. I'm not sure if such a wish would be beneficial from a traffic standpoint, but at least holding up on building in the way of such a connection in the future might be wise – at least until the area stabilizes and active development in it ceases.
