  1. I've been working with canines for a long time. So..pls don't get offended by my point of view. I just haveta say this…
Rules are rules though. Then you purchased her from a BREEDER…? Buuut it "wasn't rly like that bc they knocked down her price.."? Girl, pls. Intentionally, knowing that you MAYBE couldn't keep her..? It was a risk & you moved to keep her. It was YOUR choice. Tons of ppl risk this..then the dog goes. Idk. Cute dog but ridiculous story. Most rental properties have these policies & obviously for a reason. I disagree with breed-banning..but it's impossible & unrealistic for the landlord to "meet & greet"…get to know every dog bc of it's breed to see if it can stay or not. I'm just a realist and this is what I see here. A bit of attention seeking in my opinion. We're watching an adorable dog…yes, sure, but the comments are only seeing the "front" for some reason..not the REAL RISK of potentially putting this innocent puppy in a situation. To praise anyone for this is so silly.

Also, THIS is why sooo many pets are surrendered. The shelters can't keep up. I volunteer at the local shelter by me and its heartbreaking.

  2. Such a telling and beautiful comment that sums it up perfectly……… “SHE got lucky” Thankyou for truely being her saviour but realising that your fur baby has totally saved you too. Xxxx

  3. Yay for her!! To move with her dog and keep her safe! What a wonderful story! What sweet doggo too! ❤. So unfortunate that so many discriminate against pibbles. They are wonderful dogs.

  4. Eff anyone that could hate Nillie the pittie. She’s gorgeous and such a big ol sweetie pie. I have a chocolate lab/pitty mix and she is the most loyal, sweetest & protective dog a person could want.

  5. How can anyone mistreat this adorable beautiful angel dog bless you for giving her a loving safe wonderful home 🏠 you and her were ment to be wish you both a wonderful happy healthy life together 🙏❤️❤️🙏

  6. What a truly wonderful story… thank you for adopting this wonderful puppy. You can see the happiness between the 2 of you. You did the right thing by moving. I raised a pitbull from a puppy. She is the most gentle, loving girl. God bless you for giving that puppy a really good home and lots of hugs, kisses and love. You are a great person !!!!!

  7. Pitbulls just have a bad reputation and people don't give them a chance. A dog is not agressive by itself but it has all to do with how you raise them. A neighbour of mine had a pitbull and i never seen a more docile dog. Never got in fights and if he got attacked he would be on his back in a heartbeat. There was no agression in that dog at all.

  8. My landlord doesn’t like my car and kept threatening to have it towed to a junkyard, among other threats. I suffer from ptsd and the way he spoke/yelled “at” me and belittled and dehumanized me has severely heightened my anxiety. Of all the things I’ve been through and been through, cars for me are/were calming but now my mind fights with me about them. I still own my car I just have to pay rent somewhere else (in another town over an hour away) to store it. Financially speaking I can’t move. I don’t live within the city limits of my town I live in a house in the woods with no neighbors (because of stuff like this), with exception of the landlord who moved into a trailer less than a mile behind my house down a dead end dirt road. I know this was about a dog, but this situation is traumatic for me and talking about it helps sometimes.

  9. See I don’t love the story, for a few reason it’s false. She didn’t rescue from a shelter, she bought from a breeder. Hell I could say I rescued my Standard Poodles from the breeder, but instead I keep it 💯 and tell people I bought them.
Second she knew the landlords don’t allow pit bulls that’s why she didn’t disclose what breed she was BUYING. So this whole story to me is her lying. Don’t praise her for buying from a breeder and then saying she Rescued. Puppy wasn’t in poor health.

  10. Proud of you ! Because I’ve always loved my dogs the same you’re loving yours ! My dogs are real family members ! And family is sacred 🥰

  11. As a fellow fawn pibble owner, my Nalah has a lil crooked tail too 😂 She’s almost 10 now but I remember the day we got her like it was yesterday. My little tootie forever, 60lbs and all lol

  12. Apartments ban them because they are 1 of the six breeds that drastically raise their insurance. It is a cost issue. 95% of apartments will not let you have a pitbull, Chow Chow, or Rottie. 🙁 Nice dogs normally.
