  1. There are 2 problems.
    (1) lack support from Govt,Orgs, Companies.
    (2) Govt,Orgs, Companies support it but sells it at higher price making it less accessible…

  2. The best way to curb climate change?

Reduce greenhouse gases such as crude oil, natural gas, and coal.

    How do we do that?

    – Transition from materials like plastic to sustainable + eco-friendly ones like bamboo.

    – Transition from fossil fuels for energy to renewable ones like solar, wind, and hydropower.

    – Find solutions to minimize energy and resource waste around the globe.

  3. Actually, in olden days, people brushed their teeth with salt.
I have done that when we've been in the hut and having forgot to buy toothpaste.
Salt is normally available in a large quantities in a carton package,
which compared to small quantities of toothpaste in a plastic tube
    is fairly sustainable.
Adding mint flavour is no big deal. The trouble is adding fluoride.
(When I was young, there was a toothpaste called Dentosal (sal as in salt)
    – in a plastic tube, oft course, which is not sustainable.
Technically just an industrialised version of brushing teeth with salt.)

  4. Even to this day water blobs remain the most pointless 'green' invention of them all. It's usually when you're outside that you need portable water but to consume it, you need to peel off the 'shell', touching it with your bare hands in the process and those are definitely not clean. Then there's also a method of transportation. Where do I keep a couple of blobs, in my backpack, squeezed between a tablet and a carton of milk I bought on my way home? Will they even survive there or will I have to scrape the algae-water goo off the insides of my bag? Can't I make water-and-agar balls at home instead of buying them somewhere outside? Can't I use my reusable water bottle instead, for crying out loud?

  5. That's not how you save earth, those are great inventions, don't get me wrong, but most of the pollutants don't come from our day to day lives, they come from the same big companies as ever. And thanks to our consumerism state that won't stop unless those with money distribute their wealths to the "developing" countries.(countries whose underdevelopment is in direct interest of the transnational companies)

  6. these are all really great ideas, but none of them are saving the earth. notice how many are about managing waste. Also the earth will be fine, should worry about saving humans.

  7. Question: isn't feeding sea animals edibles made with sources outside of water rather harmful? Since it makes them develop a taste for those stuff & then get dependent on us, aren't we supposed to not feed birds and all? Or is it just a better alternative to plastic and still bad?

  8. This proves that no matter what political party you align to, neither is making any real changes are it's about the Corporations, over existence itself and quality of life. The Government is never going to value life, over power and greed. People got to come together and get out the comfort zone. Time to take the wheel.
