3. Just last night I found a full odds random shiny stufful in pokemon unbound, before the first gym.

4. I failed my shiny mantyke just now… I was surprised and decided to battle it but it ran away!

6. I feel so bad for the number 3 spot. My first shiny was a full odds buneary too and I almost failed it but luckily I caught it before it could run. I wish this guy did too 😢.

7. I wish I recoreded it but i didnt. Just the other day I was soft resetting for a shiny groudon in ultra sun and after 3 days I finally found it. I got it down to 1 hp and my fat finger decided to hit the run button. Luckly I soft reset there so I can still encounter groudon but man it hurt. I actually cried cause that was my very first shiny fail. I have 60 shinies in total along with a bunch of shiny legendaries and that was my first fail

8. Ran into a shiny Eevee in a outbreak I think it was, and threw the ball and didn't realize until it didn't pop up on the caught icon at the top that it escaped lol!

13. 3:18 i didnt know this.. I failed a shiny eevee awhile ago and thought i got a bug where the outbreak dissapeared, im glad it wasnt a bug at least but still sad i failed it.

14. These people suck for being shiny hunters, how do you fail shiny hunts?? Dont mount and run around like a moron and use stun items….. super easy

15. i lost a shiny piplup the exact same way but reclaimed it in another outbreak with 2 shiny piplups

17. why did number one use a wing ball from up close they are great but all those balls sucks for catching point blank should had just left it alone delt with the alpha than caught it calmly i never failed a shiny in LoA going onto 5 boxes which is kinda annoying but i even caught 4 abra that i didnt notice were shiny when i ran into them its not that hard to catch fleeing shiny

20. Take these clips as a lesson peeps, as soon as you hear that sparkle sound, SAVE THE GAME, twice. Or at the very least pause the game and compose yourself.

23. i legit jumped out of my pants when i went to a chimchar outbreak and found 2 shiny chimchars standing right next to each other

24. Ive failed 2 shiny in Arceus so far.

    First it was a cricketot… didnt save and ran away from me.

    Second it was an abra I think… heard the shiny chime, looked around… nothing

    Edit: that last fail hurts me cause… I know I will eventually fail one cause even though the ball is centered, they dont hit… and the pokemon runs away

26. I gave up with Piplup, I shiny hunted a massive outbreak of Prinplup and got the shiny. Ughhh and those jet balls really come in handy cause ughh regular Pokeballs will startle them.

27. failed shiny munchlax had saved right when i heard the sound so still got it in the end like it’s ingrained now for me to legit stop what im doing after hearing the shiny sparkles and save right away

28. I failed a shiny abra, I was riding around and I heard the shiny, didn’t know about saving yet and since I didn’t know what shiny abra looked like I looked around and thought it was kadabra. Battled it, no sparkle, I saved the video to try and see. My face when I noticed the abra teleport before my eyes 🙁

    I did reclaim it though!

38. to be honest…i dont understand how anyone can fail a shiny at this point :U the info has been VIRAL for so long..SAVE. BEFORE. ANYTHING. and you have as many chances as needed to catch the darn thing…
    it just feels wildly…careless i guess.

40. This is why you don’t default to jet balls 🤣🤣 those should be used for hidden sneak attack throws. Straight throws like those should be ultra balls 🤣
