  1. If the weather gets that bad & people can only see about 10-20 infront of them, that should be the sign to reduce their speed by 20-40 under the maximum, also putting on the hazzard lights would help, I just hope no one died, from the drone clips it looked more than 50 vehicles.
I've driven in white out conditions & depending on the maximum speed limit, I reduced my speed by half.

  2. Firstly, I just want to say it is tragic for all those that were involved in this and my prayers go out to everyone. Secondly, every single vehicle involved here was operated by morons. People that do not understand how to drive and do not understand how to drive in hazardous conditions. Hell people that operate these tiny little cars have enough trouble driving when it is dry outside and driving in a straight line. Why on earth did these idiots think it was perfectly fine to continue driving at freeway speeds in these conditions. And the truck‘s involved should have said it is too dangerous to continue I am park in the truck. You are responsible for your rig not your dispatcher not your boss and not the owner (if your a company driver) you are responsible not anybody else. The problem is nowadays there are way too many trucks and cars out there that have way too many computers in them and way too many so-called "safety features" that’s supposed to make driving easier. It does not make it easier it makes it more difficult. And people rely on all this stupid technology that is doing nothing but hindering us and babying us to the outside world. Combine that with nothing but automatic transmissions and what you get a steering wheel holders you don’t get anything else. Back when I got started in trucking years and years ago I went through my local community college. I got my CDL and I was trained by old school drivers that were in their late 80s. They may damn sure we knew how to not only drive the truck but how to maintain a service to truck how to shift gears how to back up and most importantly how to drive in hazardous conditions. The first thing they told us was you were in charge of that truck not anybody else if you deem it’s unsafe to drive you park the truck. And these conditions were very unsafe to drive there should’ve not been any of these cars out on the road. Now to operate in these conditions it is still possible but cars and trucks would have had to have their tires chained up have their power dividers locked in or in a pick up have it locked in four-wheel-drive and be doing a maximum speed of 15 to 20 miles an hour. Now with the way the stupid modern cars have to be designed you cannot chain up your tires because the worthless tires that are on them and the worthless wheels that are on them make it impossible and also combine that with how low to the ground they are "because fuel mpg is so damn important". Not doing 80 fucking miles an hour. The problem nowadays is no one is trained properly and everyone is dumber than a post it is nobody’s fault here but their own like I said everyone involved in this accident God bless them however everyone here is an idiot. What happens when you take dumb ass people that don’t know up from down and put them behind the wheel of an automobile and combine that with hazardous weather conditions you get a massive pile up like this. Combine idiot people with terrible automobile designs and automatic transmissions improper gearing improper training of the operator and vehicles not designed to operate in any conditions but dry weather you get this kind of shit happening and it is going to continue to happen because one people don’t learn and two idiots designing these worthless piece of junk vehicles don’t give a rats ass about your safety and don’t give a rats ass about how the vehicles designed as long as it sells they could care less.

  3. Every person involved in this accident is a complete idiot !! If peoples only drive the speed they can stop in the distance they can see all of this would’ve been avoided every person in this accident is an idiot and should not be behind the wheel driving !!

  4. We are insane to continue living the way we always have. The world has changed. I mean, stop building mobile-home parks on the Florida coast, and truckers: stop driving on snow and ice as if it's normal conditions! That goes for anyone. Why have human beings become so stupid??? We live in the "information age," and I see these videos all the time of 80-100 vehicle pile-ups, and most of the time, at least half of the vehicles are 18-wheelers–yet they never learn! Every year I see another disaster, another loss of raw materials, food, metal, lives. There is no longer any rail system in the US to transport goods across the country (thank you Disney and McDonalds) so we continue to truck the ever-increasing shipments from (mostly) China all around the country, and so much of it gets completely trashed, therefore, reordered; more random crap that nobody needs, more food, if there is any more . . . God we're wasteful and gluttonous; we rely on way too much importation from other countries and now that big-box-big-brother/largest store on the www promises that we'll get our every single whim in 24 hours, There are more semi's on the roads than ever before in history [I need to fact-check this, but logic and observance tell this to be true] .This is the fault of the US consumer, not only ^%$F#FF% Bezos, but everyone who uses his tool.

  5. I nearly had heart failure watching the man who was standing by his car in the roadway. Found myself yelling "Get out of the road you idiot!" You see the other car speeding towards him, but he doesn't, and I was sure he was going to be killed or at least badly injured. When the collision happens the two cars magically spin around him and he is able to run out of the way. That man got an extra life that day.

  6. I was on the southbound side during this snow squall. Everyone was going real slow. A big truck started to pass me and decided he better get behind me, get in line and go slow. I was behind a truck and tried to keep his tail lights in view. If I lost sight of him, he could've stopped and I wouldn't have been able to stop in time.

  7. Correction.. It was caused by idiots driving far too fast for visibility and road conditions.. This was 100 percent human error. In short, slow the fuck down if driving in snow like this.. I've been driving truck for 25 years and have seen countless accidents because of idiots driving too fast for conditions on a roadway

  8. Trucks should have a front mounted sensor like a back up sensor that can be activated during heavy snow/rain/fog that can see at least 1/4 mile ahead.

  9. They couldnt see anything they say but yet everybody was doing like 50 m.p.h. looks to me to be a big pile of stupid people.. Im gonna open a common sense store and get rich.

  10. Nice video👌!!! Very engaging from the beginning to the end "Anyone who is not investing now is missing
    a tremendous opportunity"
    Imagine investing $500 and receiving
    $8,210 as a profits in 14days.
Mrs Olivia Ryker Trades is the best 🇺🇸🇺🇲

  11. This may have happened to fast for trucker's to communicate, but don't truckers still use CB radios. I wish they could have let other truckers know about the accident ahead and the weather conditions. So sad people lost their lives.

  12. Wreck was caused by white out and slippery conditions? I suppose in today's world, driving too fast for conditions and not thinking about what you are doing has anything to do with it? Idiots

  13. When the weather is bad it's always a great idea to drive like it's sunny and 60 degrees. /sarc
