Hello! I'm glad you found it Camodo. I do want to say that I am not the original finder of this easter egg. Only thing I did was blow the whistle the hardest for it and made videos that spread fast. There are screenshots of it back in game version 1.4.6 so I assume it got added with the natural disasters update but we cannot be too sure unless the developers tell us about it. AS of right now It does not work in multiplayer, or well it does, but any non host clients see it as a shark. Toastery on the SW discord thinks its because the savegame file does NOT support saving the kraken for some reason so the game just defaults it to a shark model.

i think th reason it got stuck without wrapping around your boat is because you turned it to day and it stayed stuck but the tentackles flapping is supposed to be an animation of it swimming under since its stuck in attack mode the animation got mixed up and its stuck

Also I think that the reasosn why it just died was because possibly yo made it day and as It can only really be found at night and during a storm, its AI got confused and sort of shut down.
