The strong earthquake struck off the coast of Japan, on Wednesday, March 16, 2020.
The 7.3 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the east coast of Honshu Island in Japan.
The Japanese Meteorology Agency said, according to data, the epicenter was at a depth of 60 km off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture. The agency also announced a tsunami threat in the region.
