In today’s True Crime Recap, we’re looking at the unsolved mystery of The Dyatlov Pass incident, where nine hikers died in the northern Ural Mountains in Russia. If you like conspiracy theories, this video is for you.
In 1959, Igor Dyatlov gathered a group of grad students for an expedition to the top of the Otorten mountain in the Northern Urals. They were supposed to be gone for 16 days, however, a week later nine of them would be dead. 60 years later, no one has solved the mystery of how these nine students were killed.
What makes this case bizarre, is the strange injuries that each hiker had. Countless theories have speculated their cause of death: could it have been a serial killer who tortured them to death? A dangerous Yeti who was lurking at their camp? Some people even believe that the strange deaths could have been caused by an extraterrestrial force, or a result of stumbling across a highly classified government testing area…
So what really happened to those nine students in 1959? We’ll be uncovering all the theories in today’s True Crime Recap.

What do you think happened? A natural disaster or a big conspiracy?
" mountain’s name means “don’t go there” in the language of the Mansi, the indigenous reindeer herders who have inhabited the region for hundreds of years." – BBC
We are talking about 1950/60s USSR, you wouldnt hear nothing even resembeling the truth, not then , not now.
Very fitting is , the name its not Dead Mountain, thats the name given by the Russians, and its part of the myth.
I’m going with alien 👽
Ok NOW those outtakes are awesome. Looking at you in a totally different way now Ames lol…you are funny in those outtakes ..and I am really liked this new hair on ya.
Aliens
This is a very weird
All I can say Aliens ✌
As much as our own government hides what they really know about UAPs. Something that's interesting is skinwalker ranch has some of the same phenomenon. Also there's parts of the ranch that have naturally occurring radiation.
This is a very haunting incident. I'm going with government stuff. Love the end. It's nice to end on kind of an upbeat instead wondering. Those names were killing me too just listening to them. LOL
Aliens
Love watching yo, sorry bro. But,now, I would say avalanche. But Bigfoot or aliens is more my thing. 2nd choice radioactive and cover up. Seen this several times, but Damm, your wife does a great job!
They may have taken their clothes off after the fire was built to dry them.
Would of said natural disaster but given the current situation with Russia… Its putin deffo putin
The last part, LOVE IT!!!
A slab avelache woulda tumbled everything in that tent. No part of that tent would have been standing.
Amy, you look so cute in glasses!!!
They've gotten pretty fashionable those Yetties wearing pants. It goes well with the thermal jacket and of course that full face balaclava.
Those takes at the end were so hilarious!
It’s nu-cle-ar… not nu-cu-lar………
ITS BEEN SOLVED!!!
I actually have a theory to this that I call Yeti syndrome. Its the fact that due to the fact of high altitude and decrease of oxygen it triggers something in a human's brain to triggers aggressive behaviour. but the rest has stumped me. would love to hear other opinions
This story is actually pretty well solved
