Feeding the Frontlines

Spread The Viralist

The winner of the first part of Last Chance Kitchen rejoins the competition just in time for their “second chance” Quickfire Challenge where the Chefs are tasked with redoing a past failed dish for guest judge Melissa King. Then in an emotional Elimination Challenge Chef José Andrés calls in to recruit the chefs to join World Central Kitchen, his nonprofit organization that provides meals for victims of natural disasters, tasking the chefs with delivering over 500 meals to frontline workers at 3 local hospitals in Portland. Kwame Onwuachi will serve as the All-Star guest judge this week.

  1. I think it is not a good look to send someone home on this type of challenge after the chefs worked so hard and well together. They should have given everyone a pass and send two chefs home for the next challenge to honor the public service theme of this challenge. Also, nothing against Jaime, but I liked how Tom ran Last Chance Kitchen when it first started. Now it seems like a “do over” to bring back chefs the judges regret eliminating. When Kristen Kish won LCK during her season you felt her long struggle to get back into the competition. Now Tom just brings back chefs after they lost two challenges ago. 🤨🤨🤨
