  1. The story of the senior dog "Gretel", it broke my heart. She reminded me so much of my two seniors who past away close to a year ago about 3 months apart from each other. It was a really rough time cause we knew there time was coming. My husband refuses to get another dog because how emotional he became. But with the death of our dogs came the birth of kittens under the house and now I have my 2 cats.

  2. That is the true definition of compassion and that is really the sweetest thing anyone could do for our senior pets, she is no longer in pain and no longer in Kidney failure. I don't see her being on the other side of the rainbow bridge for long, she has more love to give and get. đŸļđŸļ

  3. Save them all! Love yall wish mat had the time to do this too.. looking forward to seeing his sister on the channel! A very much deserved GOD BLESS unto you all!

  4. Our sweet Arlo had kidney failure like Gretel. Our elder dog Shiloh who was 13 had died in his sleep after a brief illness, less than a week prior at the foot of our bed with us holding and comforting him. It was so hard on the whole family. We thought Arlo was just depressed about his friend Shiloh passing away, because he was behaving so lowly and not wanting to eat. So after four days of trying all we could to get him to eat, we brought him to our vet and were stunned to found out about his kidneys failing which we did not know were causing him problems (all we knew was that he had always LOVED on his water!). He was only 8 (rescue's guess) and we were devastated to learn that he was in pain and there was no cure. So within a week we lost two dogs. Our Arlo and Shiloh were so loved and I'm glad they felt it all the way through to the end. I'm so glad you were there for Gretel.

  5. I just pulled a larva out of my kitten's face. Thank you vet ranch your videos are so helpfull for people who does not have money for a vet. I am still at videos of 4 years ago. I am catching up. Keep up the awesome worl

  6. Gretal had so many people around her who loved and cared for her I just lost my cat to the same illness and was urinating all over herself too it’s a very fast acting disease but she was loved and spoiled til the end

  7. Matt do you know The Dark Den on YouTube! He’s got a sick iguana not sure if that’s in your wheel house but maybe you can use your contacts? And find a vet who can give him some advice I think that would be awesome idk how much they read these?

  8. Also, Pounce makes me squeal with little baby goat joy every time I see him. And then you go and add MORE baby goats to the mix???? Ohhhh it's cuteness overload!!!!!!! and I love it!!!

  9. I AM CRYING TEARS OF JOY THAT MISS HERA FINALLY GOT ADOPTED!!!!!! IF I LIVED IN TX, THAT GIRL WOULD HAVE BEEN MINE MONTHS AGO, BUT I AM SO THANKFUL SHE'S BEEN ADOPTED AND I'M SURE SHE'LL BE SPOILED ROTTEN (JUST THE WAY SHE SHOULD BE) AND TREATED LIKE A QUEEN!!!!! THANK YOU VET RANCH FOR SAVING SO MANY OF THESE AMAZING, PRECIOUS ANIMALS!!!!!!

  10. Hi Dr Karri, I'm glad you showed us a Lil bit of Mrs Gretel here! It truly is wonderful to hear that even though life is harsh to not just us, but to the animals we love, at least we can show them love and care until the time came. I love this approach and I do hope we do see more of this as a reminder to ourselves to always love and cherish our families!

  11. Your cat though. Soo cute.❤đŸ¤Ŗ. We Love Pitbull's and always have one under our roof. We are definitely advocates for the wonderful Bully Breeds. We lost, Baby Girl, about four years ago. It's hard when you lose a family member to cancer. But, I now have my Luna mommas. She's soo spoiled, and is wonderful with my 7 year old daughter. Those two Pitbull's you rescued are soo cute. We would take in a minute!! We hope they get Loving homes.🙏❤

  12. I do not agree with euthanizing Dogs while they're still "Feeling decent". We had a Dog with "Kidney failure" who was eating fine, running around, and still playing with toys but the vet recommended that he be euthanized so my F'CKING Mother and Father followed that recommendation. We are too quick to put Dogs down for our own convenience.

  13. Thanks Dr. Karri, Dr. Judd, and all the other lovely Vet Ranch staff, for your compassion even in the worst of times.

This is totally unrelated but I have to say, Dr. Karri your hair is beautiful. That ombre coloring suits you so well! 💕

  14. It is SO Important to Include Plans for your Pets in your Wills!!! So often Ppl just assume that Family will take them & then They either assume that Another Family Member Will, or No One Can.
So pleaseâ€Ļmake Sure that your Pet’s Care is Prearranged.

  15. If yall are in need of fosters. I am an approved foster through Abandoned pet Project, and also a foster for Wayward Whiskers Cat Rescue here in San Antonio
