I remember this movie was the one to spark my dread of “the big one”. Just the mellow and low “California dreamin’” playing over the state I grew up in getting torn apart, and how it can actually happen.
As I’ve gotten older I know this movie is just a really overdramatized version of what will happen, and I’m slowly slowly becoming less convinced I’ll actually live to see it since I’ve been told to “be prepared” during my entire 18 years of living and nothing has happened. But this trailer still hits me with that same dread from when I was like 8
