We can’t imagine natural disasters or Judgement Day because, but several people worry about them a great deal and spend time preparing for them. And if something happens to humanity, they’ll be ready.

Ridiculous, because you emerge out into a destroyed world with no way to grow food or survive the sickness of radiation which persists for hundreds of years. All you are doing is delaying your death and insuring that it will be slow and painful. I doubt the average millionaire knows the slightest thing about living in a barren and contaminated world after their pods have aged out.
