7. The Kajang city area, Malaysia, was hit by flash floods due to heavy rain that lasted more than an hour. Over 20,000 people are being evacuated to flood relief centers in the worst-hit Pahang state.
8. Heavy snow causes journey chaos in Japan. Snow has pummelled the north and west of Japan, causing travel chaos and warnings to stay indoors.
More than 100 domestic flights in Japan were grounded due to heavy snow in the northern and western parts of the country.
