In this compilation video, we go over multiple clips from shark attacks, great white shark encounters and even tiger shark spottings. What makes these ”caught on camera” moments so scary is the fact that they were filmed in places like the ocean.

We feature a moment where a cliff jumping man gets attacked by a shark in Australia, an 8 year old boy gets attacked by a shark in the Bahamas, a kayak fisherman in Florida catches a bull shark, spearfishermen get attacked by a tiger shark, a man in South Africa almost gets knocked off his kayak by a shark and more spearfishermen encounter a Great White Shark.

Encounters with great white sharks or even tiger sharks are actually way more common than you might think. They often happen to people who are swimming, scuba diving, fishing, boating, cliff jumping or simply at the beach.

In some cases, some people might be water skiing or even exploring coral reefs when they encounter these predators.

Although rare, it has also happened to people who are cage diving as well.

It just turns out that some of these divers were lucky enough to capture footage of these near death experiences that almost went wrong on camera and go pro. This leads to some very creepy videos.

Get ready, because these shark vs man moments that could easily be considered near death experiences are sure to give you the chills.

  1. Sharks don't intentionally hurt humans there just curious! Steven Spielberg has a lot to answer for and so do you blowing these types of videos way out of preposition!

  2. Look just in case, from the first clip you see is the perfect example of what NOT to do.
Sharks are attracted to you more by splashing and yelling and swimming as fast as you can, due to thinking you are prey trying to escape.
So yes even though it's scary you have better chances by swimming away calmly and if it does go at you. Hit the eye or it's nose. Very sensitive to the shark.

  3. the 1st clip, haha!!!! every time i watch that clip it makes me pucker up!!! haha!!! idk if it is true or not but, some say he was trying to impress his girlfriend. which shows why women live way longer than men!!!

  4. Peacefully swimming underwater ? Peacefully with a speargun. The sharks are acting naturally, the people are in the water with struggling fish attached to them, this guy is demonising nature.

  5. I loved the clip showing the couple helping the bull shark. Although they are one of the few types of sharks that actually attack humans, when I dived with them in Costa Rica, there has never been an attack against a human there because there is so much rich fish life — and we would taste like untasty chicken or beef to them! 🙂 It was truly awe-inspiring though, to lay on the ocean floor as a whole group of them circled around us — curious but afraid by the weird bubbles our regulators were casting off into the ocean.

The unfortunate part about this video is it perpetuates the unfortunate misconception that most sharks are dangerous to humans. Less than 5% actually are and most of these allegedly "terrifying" clips fail to identify if the shark that so freaked the swimmers out were even one of the dangerous ones. There are not, for example, any sharks dangerous to people in the Bahamas. And almost ALL shark attacks against humans occur when they mistake surfers for seals — their standard meal!
