  1. We will rise again, we're used this kind of calamities in the past we survived of volcano monstrous eruption, mega floods, massive earthquakes, super typhoons…

  2. If they have no funds for disaster relief because of covid that's not our problem. And Why? Puerto Rico still is far from were they need to be from the hurricane that hit four years ago. America needs to finish what they started in helping them get back on their feet. They're basically part of the US. Help our own. We can't save the whole world. Surprised the GOP goes along with handing all this help overseas. But won't excuse student loans. Won't approve the Build Back Better bill. I'm sure there's some kind of monetary benefit for them overseas.

  3. This is an exaggerated news to be honest…im from the Philippines. Its not as desperate as it is depicted here…you better watch real vblog from foreigners who are living inside the Philippines . Yes it was destructive but it did not paralyzed the place entirely, only after a few days, internet signal restored and electricity as well though some far flung areas because of the vastness are still in progress up to now but definitely not as bad as it is shown here.
The 2013 deadly typhoon that hitted my place, that was the worst one, im a survivor…the place had already recovered from it.
The present govt is much better than the former ones in handling crisis that is all i can say. The one you interviewed here is a political partisan media person of the opposing group who always wanted to show how the current govt are useless and crippled…but it is not…only the common people can attest to that, not this biased media of ours here. They always make the govt appear bad. We are currently doing just fine..Phils is not as desperate as being news in here…

  4. In the big cities, they're starting to clear up the down trees, electric posts and debris from torn houses and buildings to restore power, water supply and communication lines. It's a different story in remote island where everthing is totally destroyed and totally dependent on government aid. For sure, the country needs foreign aide to bring back life to normalcy.

  5. I wouldn’t say this is as bad as Typhoon Haiyan, which was one of the most powerful tropical cyclones to ever make landfall in known history back in 2013. The death toll from Haiyan was about 4 times worst. However, this still looks really bad with the government in dire financial straits. Most of the Philippines are no stranger to typhoons, since most of the islands are in the main belt for typhoons. Only the southernmost Philippines are outside the typhoon belt. These storms are very common to most of those islands, but some seasons are obviously worst than others. My thoughts and prayers are with the Filipino people.

  6. Earth James Webb super Telescope and global warming. One going into outerspace and the other Super Typhoon are hitting into every corner of the planet ! The good news is there isn't any this week. Hawaii Super Typhoon also !!

  7. Half of the country devastated, i wonder how they build it again with no help from the government. And it will take forever for them to build it like how it used to be.

  8. A very sad news from the Philippines. Be strong, help Your families and neighbors. The rest of the world will pray for You and I hope some human organistations will help You.

  9. If you look at the world Map, the location of the Philippines( geography) is actually saving a lot of Asian Nations from these yearly ,monthly super Typhoons from pacific Ocean, Philippine taking all the initiall power of these typhoons before they will weakend and will go to other asian nations.
