15 Extreme Fights Between Wild Animals
Spread The Viralist

Like all good dramas, when two animals meet, there is conflict. Sometimes, even when animals are of the same species, conflict presides. The reasons vary, but they usually have to do with females and territory. It’s very similar to humans, except there is no money involved. Have you ever seen two bucks go head-to-head? Buffalo, Bison & Bulls Fighting

These two bulls go head-to-head in the mud, and although one bull is bigger, the smaller bull gives it a good fight. Eventually, the weight of the bigger bull gives him the advantage and pushes his challenger quite into the distance, after which they tangle again, but after a minute or so, the smaller bull realizes he’s in a jam and takes off. For about 15 minutes, these two cape buffaloes engaged in a ferocious duel. Both animals could have ended this at any time, but they were fighting for control of their herd and neither one was going to back down. A yak and a bull are butting heads under the watchful eyes of the herds. The fight is evenly matched, while both animals push as hard as they can to make the other abandon, but they are both fearless and it looks like it’s going to take a lot to make them stop.

A hiker had his video camera with him in case he came across something interesting. He hadn’t walked more than a quarter of a mile before he came across a large herd of Scottish Highland cattle. These animals are released into the wild in this location. It is their job to eat small trees in open fields to keep them from being overrun by the forest. Two large bulls, an older bull and a younger one, were in the group. After watching this group for a while, he decided it was time to move on, and right at that moment, something led to a spectacular fight between the two bulls. He was astounded to see something like this happen only a few yards away from him. A bull takes on a bison in this video. You would think the bison is stronger, but it’s the bull that grinds and pushes the bison. Perhaps, the bison isn’t in the mood for a scuffle. I must admit the horns on that bull are scary and they could do some real damage, but it seems like this fight is evenly matched.

During mating season, bison bulls compete for the privilege to mate with females. Wallowing, bellowing, and challenging other bulls are all ways bulls show their dominance. A bull will stay at a female’s side until she is ready to mate once she is close to estrus. These bulls are enormous and violent, and their fights are thrilling, with the strongest male taking home the prize. I don’t know where these yaks buy their dresses, but they are the coolest “accouterments” I have ever seen. They wear them even during battle, and what a battle it is. These two are grunting and groaning and charging and it doesn’t stop. Anything to impress the ladies.

Lion & Tiger

Some may want to call this a battle and if it is, it’s the cutest battle I have ever witnessed between a lion and a tiger. Aren’t these two precious? These two are a little older, but they’re quite young and it’s obvious they are friends, playfighting before their big performance. Now, this is a wicked fight, but where’s the lion? I guess the tigers killed it and decided to fight each other because it was more of a challenge.
