🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. 7:25 may I advise not calling your wife this if you want to prolong your life expectancy… Uh… In Latin America husband's/boyfriends always call their girls mi gordita.. Common…

  2. Im about to leave the USA and illegally cross into Mexico. Food looks amazing and is way cheaper than up here. Not sure why they want to come to Bidens Inflation Nation

  3. Sonny should’ve been hungover or at least day drinking to fill the requirement of the $100 challenge!😄the food would’ve hit different 🤌🏼 especially the menudo !😋

  4. Sonny describing menudo is hilarious! Growing up you never think of what goes in the food, just that your mom and grandma get down in the kitchen, but when an outsider describes the food from a different point of view is hilarious!
I’m so happy he’s eating Mexican food though! I can only imagine how nice it would be for newer variety for him 😄

  5. Nice to see you finally going to the real Mexico, no offense to border towns but to anyone who really want to experience the Mexican culture, Mexico city is the place to go, because it has all of the cultural expressions of Mexican culture. Btw, you tasted the 3 of the most important pre Hispanic foods in Mexico, huazontles, huitlacoche and nopales, also super foods the 3 of them, and delicious.

  6. Here's a wild idea for while youre in Mexico, it would be really cool to see your channel do a colab with De mi Rancho a Tu Cocina

She's one of my favorites to learn recipes from and doing all the cooking on a wood stove on a ranch is awesome

  7. I've travelled to Mexico a few times but only really to touristy areas. I'd love to go back and tour various cities. My wife once lived in Oaxaca. Mexico has my favorite style of foods out of all I've tried, and I've had a lot.

  8. I would love if there were “fake” translations that were just jokes. I think that would be in line with this show’s mission. Like that vendor at the end where sonny looks confused gets translated to song lyrics, or Shakespeare’s sonnets.

  9. Man I hope he will stay there for a while so much stuff to do such a diverse beautiful country also amongst the few that are not so insane about the C crap and allows travel now ,he can have tons of content like his Vietnam series tons of different unique towns and ppl even tribes
